You all know my addiction to all things green; there is a plant in every single room at Number Five and I can't stop adding! So in this week's Five Things (which will become a regular mid week post for all you lovelies!) I'm sharing with you my favourite planters to display your beautiful green gang in! I adore a planter and think all plants look spectacular potted in one, however until recently you had to spend quite a lot to achieve the look. The High Street and other Independent stores are now100% behind this vibe and there are some beauties out there; here are five of the best.
I love the look of raw, matte grey concrete against those midcentury turned legs alongside a pop of green! This is a total steal from Next, not somewhere I often frequent, but if there is more stuff like this I'm sure it will become a regular haunt for me!
You can also purchase similar on La Redoute, who have 25% off everything (pretty much!) for the bank holiday weekend! Race ya!
Vickie from Wheel Chic Home alerted me to some amazing finds in a place you would never guess, Matalan! She shared a £10 gold magazine rack which, with my magpie tendencies, meant I just had to stop by and see if I could find the same in my local store. Alas, I couldn't find the magazine rack, but did spot this ever so cute table top planter, perfect for a side table to house a little cactus or succulent.
The original and most definitely still the best place for planters is the mothership, or West Elm as it's known to many! Yes, they are expensive, however they are absolutely beautiful and so many stunning designs to choose from. I'm just going to leave this link hereso you can swoon over their current collection but my favourite will salways be the classic. Teak legs, white gloss finish and the perfect height! This will be forever on the wish list.
You may not have heard of MiaFleur, but they are one of my favourite independent stores online! They are a mother and daughter dream team who are curating some glorious pieces in their online store. They have such a wonderful eye for design and current trends and they are always one step ahead! These brass beauties will add a touch of luxury to any plant styling, and plants just look so stunning against those brassy tones.
Finally, it's a little different to the others I have shared but still beautiful none the less. It is from one of my favourite scandi brands, Ferm Living, and is a beautifully simple plant box. It comes in a gorgeous set of scandi tones from light grey to a really deep teal green. This looks so beautiful planted up, but i've also seen it used to store cooking ingredients, alongside herbs so it is a great multi functional piece of styling here!
I am ever so tempted to get one for Number Five, so watch this space to whether I go for it!
I've recently purchased a couple of planters for Number Five which I am totally loving! You may have seen this beautiful planter from M&S if you are a subscriber (if not head to the main page to subscribe!) The M&S A/W collection is so amazing and there are some beautifully designed products to be snapped up!
M&S have 20% off selected goodies over the Bank hol weekend so do take a look!
Very similar to the Matalan planter that I shared above is this cute little West Elm planter, it is the mini version of my planter of dreams!
I have this one on my bedside cabinet. Told you the green was everywhere!!
Hope you have enjoyed this round up, let me know if this is the kind of thing you'd like to see more of!
